A Deadly Custom

Observing traditions can be sometimes dangerous. This is true even for the seemingly harmless Japanese bow. In Tokyo alone, there have been more than 20 recorded cases of people who have either died or received serious skull injuries while bowing to each other for the traditional Japanese greeting.
